Cruz, a former classroom teacher, established the Firm on June 1, 2013 after having worked with another school law firm. Mr. Cruz has been practicing school law for twenty-three (23) years and is the second Hispanic to serve as Chair of the TASB Council of School Attorneys and the First Hispanic to serve as Chair of the State Bar of Texas School Law Section.
